Four of CFI’s best have been named “Top Women to Watch in Transportation"

#SheDrivesCFI means building a better industry to support women in transportation and logistics. We live this mission by providing opportunities to grow. What an honor when others recognize our She Drives CFI pioneers as well.

Four of our employees have been included in The Women In Trucking Association's "Top Women to Watch in Transportation." Each year, the association recognizes top performers in the industry who not only have had significant career accomplishments in the last year, but also go the extra mile to support other women and help to improve gender equality – at their own companies and/or industry-wide. Elaine Bodnar: Professional Driver 

Elaine Bodnar is one of our She Drives CFI professional drivers, a driver finishing instructor, and a true example of what women in trucking can achieve with CFI.  Elaine is committed to her students' success on every level and has taught 27 graduates to date.  Her devotion to her students does not stop once they are upgraded. Elaine often connects with them after the fact, checks in, and offers support in any way that she can.  Elaine is described by her fleet leader as “a very passionate person who always puts herself in someone else’s shoes. Elaine is a confident, kind, determined woman who has the highest respect for all at CFI.  She is strict to DOT and company guidelines but always leads with empathy and compassion for her students.”  Women like Elaine are truly paving the way for female drivers in the industry and investing in the success of future female drivers. 

Maria Coley: HR Director 

Maria Coley is a tireless worker. She is beyond committed to not only her job but also to ensuring all employees and drivers get the attention, answers, and solutions they seek. She personally supports the professional development of her team members and has created on-the-job training as well as leader development to increase their confidence and skills. She utilizes her own relationships and professional network to create visibility for others, specifically those who may be overlooked. Maria is a business leader who is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion for all. She helps women in the workplace reach their full potential by ensuring they have equal opportunities and access to the people, processes, and leader support necessary to grow within the industry.  Maria is an inspiration.  She understands the need to raise each other up and the power of collaboration to influence change and promote diverse ways of thinking.   

Amber Henson:  Operations Manager 

Amber Henson is recognized as one of the most professional leaders on her team, and as someone who treats everyone with respect and kindness. Several customers have recognized Amber for her “can do” attitude and her ability to provide the solutions they need through excellent customer service. She is instrumental in leading all the planning and operational optimization teams, as well as working with the sales and pricing teams to manage customer commitments.  Amber leads a team that is focused on helping support driver satisfaction and success by being flexible in meeting driver needs and requirements.  She is very devoted to the personal growth and development of her team members. She takes the time to invest in

their success by intentionally mentoring and coaching them.  A true visionary, she is always finding new ways to better the business and driver experience. 

Traci Crane: Sr. Manager, Road Service 

Traci Crane has been with CFI for over 25 years. She began her career here as an Administrative Assistant in Safety and quickly began progressing up the ladder. Her strength and dedication caught the attention of other departments and Traci was later transferred to Maintenance and promoted to Sr. Manager.  Her responsibilities revolve around all aspects of over the road repairs for a fleet of over 2,000 tractors and 10,000 trailers.  Throughout the on-going pandemic, Traci has transformed the Road Service Team into a reliable source of support for professional drivers. She has adapted to leading and managing a successful remote workforce all while staying within budget. She has continued to retain that personal touch with her team through remote meetings and calls even while apart.  Traci is a key player at CFI and will continue to add value throughout the organization.
