CFI recieved Heavy Duty Trucking’s 50 Green Fleets award in 2013 and 2014. Recipients include companies of all types and sizes including government fleets, private fleets, for-hire fleets, truckload, less-than-truckload, vocational and delivery fleets. Some fleets have fewer than 50 trucks while others have more than 5,000, but all fleets have made a commitment to green, sustainable operations. That may include alternative fuels, top fuel mileage and freight efficiency for lower greenhouse gas emissions, energy-saving facilities, recycling programs, etc.
