CFI Employees Take Part in National Wreaths Across America Day

CFI Professional Drivers, all of whom are Military Veterans, delivered wreaths to sites in Kansas, Missouri, Texas, and Virginia on National Wreaths Across America Day this December 17th. In addition to professional drivers who dedicated their time to delivering wreaths, other CFI associates also took part in wreath-laying ceremonies.

Tim H., Senior Operations Manager, CFI, participated in the Webb City, Missouri ceremony where 1,100 wreaths were placed on every single Veteran’s headstone at “Mt. Hope Cemetery.” Tim shared with KSN that “It makes me proud, it makes me proud that the public comes out and recognizes our fallen, our you know, our Veterans that have served our nation with pride and honor. CFI, of course, has supported Wreaths Across America for ten years now, better part of ten years, I believe, with over 50 loads of wreaths that we’ve delivered in National Cemeteries across the Nation.”

Adam S., Driver Advocate at CFI, told The Joplin Globe that he helps coordinate the nationwide efforts and has been involved with Wreaths Across America for five years. “This is an important part of our identity, as a company, and mine,” he said. “My grandfather and father were both veterans. My grandfather served in the U.S. Army, and my father was in the Air Force. It’s just a way that I can give back.” Adam said CFI has been delivering wreaths to Fort Scott (Kansas) National Cemetery for about a decade and he was excited to hear that a local ceremony was slated at Mount Hope. “It’s a big honor for CFI,” he said. “I’d love to see this here again next year.”

We're proud of the turnout we saw from CFI associates this National Wreaths Across America Day and are excited to participate again next year and for years to come. Thank you to everybody who came out and honored our nation’s Veterans. You can read more about CFI's participation at Mount Hope from KOAM here.
