CFI Raises $730 for Boys & Girls Club During March Madness Fundraiser
This March, associates at CFI came together to make a difference in the lives of local youth by raising $730 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest MO. Tied to the excitement of the season, our March Madness-themed fundraiser was less about basketball and more about supporting a cause that’s close to many of our hearts.
Associates donated and competed in a bracket challenge, with all proceeds going directly to support the Club’s programs and services. From academic support to character development and leadership programs, the Club plays a vital role in shaping the future of our community.
For some members of our team, this fundraiser hit close to home.
"I grew up going to the Boys & Girls Club, and it played such a huge role in my development," said Destiny Wilkerson, Compliance Manager. It means a lot to be in a position now where I can help give back."
Wilkerson toured the Club’s facilities and saw firsthand the incredible progress that’s been made over the years. From updated classrooms to dynamic teen spaces, the Club is continuing to evolve to meet the needs of today’s youth while staying true to its mission.
"It was great to see how far the Club has come," Wilkerson added. "They’re doing more than ever to support the next generation in our community, and we’re proud to support that."
We’re grateful to everyone who participated in this fundraiser, and we look forward to finding more ways to support our community this year.
