At CFI, we do more than just transport freight—we bring the show to life. From the intricate staging, lighting, and sound systems to the merchandise that fans can’t wait to get their hands on, we make sure every piece arrives safely and on time, so the artists can focus on putting on a show.
Most recently, we teamed up with Heartland Express to move Metallica’s massive concert production from Seattle's Lumen Field to Mexico City's Foro Sol. It was no small feat—40 trucks, escort vehicles, and a crew of professional drivers worked together to ensure the stage, lighting, and gear made it across the border without a hitch.
"With some of our larger projects, we manage hundreds of load numbers, constantly updating data and working with our customers right up until the day of the event," said Raul Gutierrez, CFI's Senior Customer Service Representative. "Our team handles every detail, ensuring a smooth operation from start to finish."
And Metallica isn’t the only one trusting us with their tours. We’ve had the privilege of moving concert equipment for some of the biggest names in music, including international stars in K-pop, Latin, and U.S. markets. Whether it’s moving seven trucks of high-tech equipment for Bruno Mars from Las Vegas to Mexico City or setting the stage for other major acts, we’re always ready to hit the road and get the job done.
Projects of this scale demand perfection at every step," said Mike Cervin, CFI’s Senior Vice President of Sales. "There’s simply no room for error."
When it comes to concerts, CFI ensures the show goes on. Top artists trust us with their equipment, and you can trust us with your freight, too.
