CFI Associates Spread Holiday Cheer, Raising Over $17,000 in Giving Campaign Amid Challenging Freight Market

In a year marked by continuous challenges in a harsh freight environment, associates of CFI, a North American leader in the transportation and logistics industry, recognized the importance of continuing to give back this holiday season. Despite operating in a tough economic climate, associates came together to raise $17,135 during the company’s annual holiday giving campaign, Truckloads of Treasures. Together, associates have raised over 1-million dollars in the campaign’s 31-year history.

“We’ve been through a lot this year, but our team always finds a way to focus on what matters most – supporting our communities,” said Josh Helmich, CFO. “The generosity of our associates is a testament to the values we uphold every day on and off the road.”

The holiday tradition was a collaborative effort, involving contributions from associates across various departments, from professional drivers and dispatchers to administrative staff. Through bake sales, raffles, silent auctions, and direct donations, the team worked tirelessly toward a common goal of giving back this holiday season. The funds will support local charities and community programs in the areas where CFI operates.

This year’s campaign holds special significance given the financial strains many families and organizations face during an economic downturn.

“Our associates understand that even small contributions can lead to meaningful change,” added Helmich. “It’s heartwarming to see so many come together to lift others up, especially during such a challenging year.”

CFI’s successful holiday giving campaign serves as an inspiration not only within the company but also across the trucking and logistics industry. It’s a reminder that even in difficult times, the power of community and compassion can create a positive ripple effect.

Throughout the year, CFI places an emphasis on charities with ties to military Veterans, first responders, the transportation industry, empowering women, and education. The company’s support goes beyond monetary donations and includes in-kind, volunteering, and support for events.
